The Barn Stage Company continues its 2017/2018 season with Little Women. Based on the novel by Louisa May Alcott, adapted by Allan Knee and featuring a score by Jason Howland and Mindi Dickstein, this timeless, captivating story is brought to life in this glorious musical filled with personal discovery, heartache, hope and everlasting love.
Little Women follows the adventures of sisters, Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March. Set against the backdrop of Civil War America, this timeless tale of love and family tells the story of Jo March, a young and aspiring writer. When publishers pass on her writings, she is encouraged by her friend Professor Bhaer to write more from herself. Begrudgingly taking his advice, Jo weaves the story of herself and her sisters and their experience growing up in Civil War America. We are thrilled to be presenting this heartwarming musical for 2 weekends at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater running January 11th – 21st, 2018.
